Woodville Trackwork. Tuesday 31-Jan-12 TUESDAY JANUARY 31st, No.1 Grass, firm. Hastings graduate Head Of Gold took time honours when slipping over 1000m in training at Woodville this morning. Galloping was on the No.1 grass, which was firm. However Head Of Gold (Wiki) had the use of the course proper after breaking away in a heat of the jumpouts and took 1.1.5, with the last 600m in 35.7. He races at Awapuni next week. Our Delight (Bishop) returned 52.3 for 800m, the last 600m in 37.6 while Spy King (Brown) took similar time of 52.7 and 38 in his 800m hit-out. Waive The Rules (Wiki) and The Toothfairy (Bambry) eased into their gallop over 1000m in 1.6.9, the final 600m in 38.5. They race at Wanganui on Thursday. Pinocchio Boy (Wiki), another for Wanganui, was similar over 1000m in 1.6.2 and 37.3 while Our Memoir (SBarlow) trialled over 800m in 52.3, the last 600m in 37.3. Bunnythorpe Rulz (Wiki) was easy in his 1000m gallop in 1.7.7 and 39.3 while Di\'s Boy (Wiki), in his first gallop back after a break, sprinted 600m in 38.6. Maiden graduate Don\'t Dilly Dally emphasised her fitness for Trentham on Saturday with a stylish semi final trial at Woodville this morning.
Galloping was on the No.1 grass which offered excellent footing.
Don\'t Dilly Dally (SBrown) had the maiden Daufino (Bishop) for company over 1000m in 1.2.7, finishing off the last 600m in 36.1. Don\'t Dilly Dally has come ahead in leaps and bounds since her maiden win here earlier in the month. She goes to Trentham for a special condition event.
An un-named Gold Centre gelding (Brown) had Sahara Sunset as a companion over 1000m in 1.8.7, the last 600m in 36.6.
Our Memoir (Wiki), also from Shane Brown\'s stable, joined Caprio (DBarlow) over 1200m in 1.20.7, the 800m in 50.5 and the last 600m in 37.3.
Top Of The Stretch (Bishop) and Floss The Boss (Wiki), by Golan, in a smart 800m gallop in 51.2, the final 600m in 36.6.
Bunnythorpe Rulz (Wiki) completed 1000m in 1.6.5 and 37-7 while Pinocchio Boy (Wiki) returned 52.3 and 37.4.

Well bred maiden Don\'t Dilly Dally took the eye in her final gallop for Saturday\'s meeting in training at Woodville this morning. Galloping was on the No.1 grass which was firm. Don\'t Dilly Dally (SBrown) and Take Off (Bishop) impressed with the ease of their work over 1000m in 1.6, the last 600m in 38.4. They form a strong duo for local trainer Shane Brown. Heart Of Gold (Albert) and a Keeninsky gelding (Wiki) were allowed a sharp sprint over 600m in 35.1. Heart Of Gold is in the maiden 1400m, and a rival for Don\'t Dilly Dally. Marty Boy (Wiki) was allowed to ease himself over 1200m, before finishing off the final 600m in 38.1. He is in the R75 2200m as is Palm Island (DBarlow), who completed his 1200m in 1.26, the last 600m in 39. Szyslak (DBarlow) was also allowed an easy 1200m before sprinting home the final 600m in 38.7. Ducati (DBarlow) was strong throughout 1000m in 1.3.9, the last 600m in 35.2 and stablemate Bastille King (SBarlow) recorded 1.20.6 for 1200m, the 800m in 50.7 and the last 600m in 36. There were a number of horses who revelled in the perfect underfoot conditions prevailing at Woodville this morning.
The track has absorbed the 100mls of rain experienced over the past few days and indications that there will be few excuses for those competing on Saturday.
Take Off (Amies) and Don\'t Dilly Dally (Brown) looked sharp in completing 1000m in 1.3, the last 600m in 35.6. Don\'t Dilly Dally ran second on debut at Awapuni.
Palm Island (Wiki) and Syzslak (DBarlow) were strong throughout their 1200m in 1.17.7, the 800m in 49.8 and the last 600m in 36.7. They cannot be long staying in maiden class.
Marty Boy (Wiki) returned 1.17.2 for his 1200m, the 800m in 49.4 and the final 600m in 36.4. He still has a win left in him despite the advancing years.
Head Of Gold (Albert) was another to impress over 1200m in 1.17.7, the 800m in 49.7 and the last 600m in 35.8. An un-named stablemate by Keeninsky took 1.9 for 1000m, the final 600m in 39.2.
Talk The Torque (GBarlow) gave Bastille King a start and a beating over 1000m in 49.2, the last 600m in 35.3 and a Keeninsky colt (Wiki) recorded 51.5 and 35.7.
Master Plan (Wiki) and a Postponed gelding (Jensen) were easy over 1000m in 1.12.1, the final 600m in 39.8. while a Golan filly (DBarlow) and a His Royal Highness gelding (Wiki) completed their 800m in 51.4 and 36.2.
Ducati (DBarlow) was even over 1200m in 1.19.6 and 38.8 while Top Of The Stretch (Brown) sprinted 600m in 39.8.
Crosslands (Bambry) and a Faltaat (Wiki) galloped 800m in 52, the last 600m in 37.5 and Bunnythorpe Rulz (Wiki) completed his 800m in 1.8.4 and 38.3.

There are several runners engaged over the busy racing period and not all were seen working at pace as a consequence.
Dubai Belle goes to Stratford on Saturday and she had Crosslands for company over 1000m in 1.5.4, the last 600m in 37.8. Dubai Belle is in the R85 1500m while [Crosslands] may go to Otaki next week. Waive The Rules and The Toothfairy strode out over 1000m in 1.6.1, the last 600m in 38. They are both engaged in the maiden 1000m at the Wairarapa meeting. Pinnochio Boy was keen in completing his 800m in 52, the final 600m in 37.3. He too may be kept for the Otaki fixture. Bastille King, in the 2000m maiden at Hastings, worked evenly over 1400m in 1.33.2, the final 600m in 39.4. Stablemate Caprio, engaged at the Wairarapa meeting, completed 1200m in 1.28.1, the last 600m in 40.3. Dubai Belle is on target to resume on a winning note at the Levin meeting at Otaki on Thursday judging by her final work at Woodville this morning. Galloping was on the No.1 grass, which offered perfect footing. Dubai Belle (Bishop) had the two year old Grace O\'Malley for company over 1200m in 1.23.3, running the 800m in 53.3 and the last 600m in 37.6. Dubai Belle runs over 1400m in the benchmark R85 at Otaki while Grace O\'Malley will be at Awapuni for the two year old race on Saturday. Another for Otaki is the former northerner The Toothfairy, now with Francis Finnegan. The Volksraad mare is winless after 44 starts, but has had 15 minor placings and she was allowed an easy 600m in 41.3. She is in the maiden 1400m. Also going to Otaki is the debutante Our Memoir (HWiki) in the maiden 3yo 1200m. She is a Remind filly with Garry and Stephen Barlow and had stablemate Syzslak (DBarlow) for company over 800m in 51.5, the last 600m in 37.6.
Pycok Flyer (Albert) looked in good nick when running 800m in 51.5, the final 600m in 37. He is also in at Otaki while stablemate O\'Right Zen, in an Awapuni, worked with Deploy (Jensen) in a smart 1.2.8 for 1000m, the last 600m in 36.2. Cruizeonby (Albert) took 37.7 for 600m and a Falkirk filly (Jensen) returned 39.8. Mr Zatopek (Bambry) and a Storm Creek gelding (Jensen) were quiet over 800m in 58.7 and 42.2 and Bouzy (Albert) sprinted his 600m in 38.9.
